Opublikowano: 10 October 2025

The project for the "Let's Love Ourselves" photography exhibition by Weronika Męcina and Artur Michalski was developed during the "Fundamentals of Museology" class of Dr Julia Sowińska-Heim, a first-year Professor in the Department of History of Architecture at the University of Lodz, in the 2024/2025 academic year. The collection comprises 20 portraits or portrait collages by both authors, created at different times and using different techniques. The authors question the conditions for recognising anything as a work of art, while simultaneously sharing a simple and popular message about the impact of self-assessment on our perception of the world. They are not afraid of questions, are open to discussion, and are also curious about the opinions and reflections of the opening audience, for which a commemorative book will be displayed. The exhibition catalogue will be available for download in PDF format from the website of the Foundation for the Promotion of Intuitive Art, which is organising the project.
The event will include a solo concert by Julianna Kamila Siedler-Smuga.
